clinical supervision for therapists
I am approved by the Montana Board of Behavioral Health to provide clinical supervision to candidates of both social work and professional counseling.

This work is hard.
We all need support.
External Supervision
For LCSW candidates in Montana:
100 hours of your 3000 post-degree work experience must include individual or group supervision by a qualified supervisor under ARM 24.219.504 — that can be me.
I do also welcome fully licensed supervisees looking for mentorship and professional support,
I'm a PCLC and LCPC candidate. Can you supervise me?
Yes, according the board of behavioral health. details here.
While my education route looked different, supervision with a PCLC will include added reviews of your ethical and professional codes & supervision requirements
What makes you qualified?
Great question! I have been licensed as an LCSW for 8 years (not including the two years I held my LMSW) and I have taken 20 hours of board-approved training in supervision.
The requirements for supervisors in montana solely includes being licensed for at least three years or taking board-approved training.
I have both! And exceed the minimum years practicing by
five years. my clinical experience also includes working in residential, intensive outpatient, community mental health, and private practice.
My clinical lens includes a broad scope of practice and across diverse populations (most supervisors in Montana have only worked in private practice)
Why do you only offer external supervision? What if I need work experience, too?
My supervision is only external, meaning I do not take on supervisees under my practice or license.
With external supervision, you don't have to tiptoe around workplace issues when your outside supervisor doesn't also oversee your caseload and rely on you seeing clients to be able to write you your paycheck
External supervision is best suited for new therapists wanting extra clinical support and deepened mentorship beyond just meeting hour requirements or the internal supervision being received from an employer or agency
What if i'm out-of-state and not located in Montana?
If you are seeking supervision for licensure, most states require cinical supervisors to be licensed and practicing in the state the supervisee is in.
In order to follow candidacy requirements and ensure your licensure process follows your state board's guidelines, it's best practice to find a supervisor in your respective state.
I do work with post-licensed clinicians on case support and consultation.
What if i'm licensed, not looking for supervision hours, and just want support?
I provide consultation and supervision to therapists both within Montana and virtually to those out-of-state who are independently licensed and seeking case support and career mentorship.
I'd love to meet you! Feel free to reach out.
What are your supervision fees?
My rates vary based on experience and licensure. Please inquire via the form below to discuss working together and my fee scale.
What if I'm a student?
Graduate school is a lot.
This offering extends to graduate students looking for career consultation or professional guidance. My supervision with graduate students is unable to count towards any academic requirements or post-graduate clinical supervision requirements
